connection closed by remote server?

I am trying to edit some of my snipes (unfortunately prices are going up and I still want to win

) but since yesterday I am getting the following error message: connection closed by remote server.

So, I can log in and see my snipes, I can even retrieve them individually but once I try to edit, I run into a brick wall.
Any idea why this is happening?

Hello!! It has been too long since I have seen you post! ...I just went in and edited one of mine to test it and it is working alright. I cannot remember, are you out of the U S ? If so, maybe it has something to do with it...hopefully Sara can tell you!

Hello Mrs. M - yeah, it has been a while, travelling and lots of work. Ebay has certainly been quiet for me recently.
Anyway, I just went back again to try. At first I had the same issue - seemed like no connection could be build. Then I clicked on my Aussie flag and all of a sudden it worked. I know that the flags were introduced shortly before my "holiday" - do we have to use them now?
Anyway, my snipes have been amended and I can relax and wait for the auction to roll by.
