Very good, thanks. And YOU?

I'd like to get your inputs on something. I've been wondering if others would like to join us. I know it's early, but they can still join in any time (day or night). UNLIKE YOU TWO, there may be others that are too shy Wink to post, or feel like they would be intruding (I so dislike those insider groups).

What's your thoughts? If you like the idea, how would the two of you welcome/encourage more people (new and old) into this chat-room? One more question, am I the only one that dislikes the word "newbie"? (A non-newbie should be an oldbie Big Grin.)

I would absolutely love to expand the group. I enjoy a lot of different perspectives and would highly encourage all of you out there to jump in and chat a little for awhile!

One thing I plead guilty to is that I need to be careful not to address my comments too specifically to one or two people, but to be more mindful that there are others out there"lurking" (to use diva's term). Smile

I am always torn between addressing the person who just posted, and the others that are there, but not making themselves known.

Some folks may just like to "listen in" and not participate, but I would like it if others would like to chat about anything - even the weather! Smile

The two of you are corkers (is that the right word - I think that's the word my Dad uses).

Nice job on ebay Motors and reserves (and this doesn't mean I think you need to go "down under". I wanted to complement the two of you.)

Like bjt, I wasn't aware that ebay Motors treated reserves any differently, but I've never bought a reserve in that category.

Steve might be on a trip. He mention he's done some consulting, and he's had a couple of books published, so he may be out making a movie deal (who would be a good actor to play his character?). Big Grin Also, he lives on some ridge, and he has a dial up line, so it sounds like a more wilderness environment and maybe he's fighting off a polar bear. Big Grin

I really enjoy mornings.

Right now, I am listening to old recordings of Bix Beiderbeck - a jazz cornet player from the 1920's.
He was a jazz genius whose career only lasted 6 years.
Unfortunately, he died very early of alcoholism.

I think he was only in his twenties when he died, but in the short time he recorded, he made some fantastic music and changed the face of jazz at the time.
He was often compared to Louis Armstrong, but in reality, they both had their own distinct styles.

Bjt, if you are interested in Jazz, Richmond still has a wealth of interesting history. It was one of the leading recording places in the nation during that period. They have just recently restored the buildings, etc. I lived there for many years and was involved many of these areas from time to time. It would make a nice short trip for you sometime. It is located on I70, 80 miles east of Indianapolis and aprox. 5 miles from the Ohio line.
