I should know this but......... If two people snipe an item and the higher snipe does not exceed the other snipe by a full bid increment, does the lower snipe win the bid? Or, do you win the bid if your snipe is one cent over the other sniper?

It's my understanding that the bid must be a full increment above the price currently displayed, not above the other persons maximum snipe amount.

If the item was at £5 and the high bidder had set up a proxy bid of £10 and your bid was £10.01 then you'd win by 1p if no-one else was involved!
