Choosing the ebay country site bid is placed on.

Hi

Is there a way to choose which ebay site my snipe is placed on as currently all my snips are placed on .com, this is fine 95% of time but if ever there is a problem with the item all issues have to be resolved through that site and .com have different terms from the European sites. Also fax, phone conversations have to be done back to US rather than a EU number.

No, according to the last info posted on this forum. But your best bet is to contact support. Most of the replies on this forum come from just a couple of users with too much time on their hands and limited knowledge. Here's the support link:

Not sure which problems you're anticipating but I've found that most disputes involve PayPal rather than eBay itself. Then there's no problem because you can always pay using your local PayPal account and resolve problems there.

I live in the UK and Spain and I have a PayPal account for both countries. For large purchases, I always use the UK site because my English is infinitely better than my Spanish!
