Apparently this person was (supposedly) auctioning some envelopes; one of them contained money, the others were empty!!

Like I said, someone might fall for it, but it seems that ebay probably pulled the plug.

Another get rich scheme, which allows the seller to get rich, or a littler richer. I believe there were 200 envelopes with a $20 BIN (each). One envelope contained (hopefully) $500, two had $100, and maybe a couple with 20’s (that’s from memory, so it may be off some). The idea was that since they were selling envelopes, at a nice markup, then it wasn’t actually gambling/lottery. I gather ebay had a difference of opinion.

And, the seller has a fairly respectable feedback score so maybe they are just trying to do the intro to Star Trek.

Holy smokes... looks like someone is looking for a way to bolster up their coffers for the holiday. Creative, though, and well thought-out in its own sense of the word... *LOL*

Interesting scheme! I can see why ebay had to pull that one. Can you imagine how many more of those auctions would pop up if this one was allowed to run?

I also find it amusing the "advertise on our fat bods" auction got no bids. That was an interesting way not to have to buy clothing for a vacation!
