Cell Phone Notifications

I've seen a lot of the problems with the new interface/update addressed in this forum (thanks for all the great info, I wanted to ask the same questions on all), but there's just one I REALLY miss I haven't seen mentioned...

Are the notifications for cell phones/pagers going to be functioning again soon? I haven't received a single notice since the change-over began.

Do we need to do anything to get them working again? I checked my profile and the proper options are stil checked and my number is still displayed.

I really miss those beeps on my phone when I'm out and about letting me know I just won another auction and got a great deal through AS; they would always totally make my day!

Good question, I hadn't heard anyone mention this.

The programmers will work on this Monday/Tuesday. There is nothing you need to do. We still have all your settings and they just need to turn that option back on.

As you can see from this original post, I first brought this problem up almost a month ago. In several replies since then on under different subjects on this message board, AS support has mantained that they are working on it and it should only take a couple days more.

It seems that it still is not functioning; I still haven't received any notices since this original post.

Any hints as to what the situation is and when it will be working again?

I've received them on my cell phone.

Can you check your account settings? Sign in, click the My Snipes tab, and click the "Modify account" link just below the tab and make sure you cell phone # email address and settings are correct.
