Cannot find the item?

Where does this message appear? Perhaps if you describe the procedure you follow that results in the message it might give us some clues.

O.K. So thanks for the reply. I go to add new snipe. Type in the item #, then the snipe amount, lead time~ all that jazz. Finally I click snipe it and under the "comments (optional)" it reads "Could not find the item". I can't seem to snipe anything.

Well, the "Comments (optional)" field is for you to enter information if you wish. By itself, it has nothing to do with whether your snipe is successfully set up. When you have entered the item number, etc. do you click on the little button that says "Add!" just to the right of the "Comments (optional)" field? That's what gets your snipe ready to go. Try it and see.

Where do you click on "Snipe It?" Up in the right corner where the tab says "Snipe It Now?" That won't get your snipe scheduled. Let me suggest that you click on the tiny "faq" at the top of this page and look up "Snipe It Now."

Steve, you work fast my friend. When I said "snipe it" I meant "add". I was trying to think of the whole procedure from the top of my head. When I click "add", under, not in the comments section is where it says "Could not find the item" in red. Is this uncommon, I have sniped a few items in the past. Thanks for the help~JOEL

No, Joel, it isn't common. In fact, it's the first time I've heard of it. In addition to your post here, I suggest you file a support case with AS at http://support.auctionsniper.com/. You've got me stumped, but I'll bet it's something simple.
