cannot delete snipe with status UNKOWN

Have you tried deleting the bid group folder? You might want to file a support request: http://support.auctionsniper.com/

Welcome to our forum! I usually always just delete the bid group folder as stated above. That should work if there isn't a glich somewhere.

Yes I have tried deleting the group, it does not work either. That is way too easy. If you knew me, you'd know if I have a question, brace yourself, it not likely to be easy.

If the bidgroup was able to be deleted, wouldn't the snipe delete by itself?

Well, I filed a support request, and the tech couldn't get rid of it either. He said a higher authority will look at it Monday. So, like I figured I'm SPECIAL :~)

I, too, am having mnhammer's problem.
When trying to delete the bid group, it said it couldn't because of an unresolved snipe.
Okay, so I found a snipe that was marked as status "unknown" and tried to delete it. It came back with "One or more of your snipes could not be cancelled at this time."
Okay, let's try "Modify". Nope, got "This item has been removed by Ebay".
"Okay Tonto. Show me which way they went..."
I already had a couple of misfires because of this. Heeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!!!!

I had the same problem. Support could not help me either after many attempts. I used the delete old snipes function to get rid of it. You just have to wait the minimum 2 months to get this function to accept it as old
