can't cancel bid due to maintenance?

This is my first try with this. I had a snipe set up for tomorrow am for a fairly expensive item ($300) and decided to cancel. I can't get into my account...it says Database Maintenance
until 1am. It's well past 1am and I still can't get in to cancel this!!!! I won't have access to the internet tomorrow am and have to cancel this now...in a total panic. Anyone up with any suggestions?

File a support request, include all information we'd need to cancel it. I can't guarentee it will be able to be done, but it most likely will be.

We're adding something tonight to place snipes faster so the maintenance is going past 1am. It should be back by 2-2:30am knock on wood.

Um, make that by 3am. Just talked to the guys and it's pandemonium as usual when we try something out of the ordinary.

It'll be up for a sec though in a few mintues so file that support case and I'll try and take care of it then. Else you can keep trying for the next 30-40 minutes to log in and do it yourself.

If you missed Sara's 2-3 minute window you can always go to eBay and change your password. That way AS will fail to snipe the item because they're using your old password. Of course, you'd want to change it back on eBay, or update AS with the new info afterwards.

Just a thought.

Good idea though on the password thing. Not sure why I didn't think of that. Duh. Probably because it's 2:15 am.
