Hi. Checked out your program!

Works for me. Very good for a few days work!

You may find that: Generally people resist programs that send and receive data on the internet written by someone they don't know.

i.e. Why a 5 meg download for a 180K program? Sorry if that's a stupid question, but I'm a hardware person and not really into the software end of things.

Thanks for checking it out!

I know the resistance about internet accesses - but it does have to contact ebay to get the info Smile The program only checks my website when you push the 'U' button - and then it only requests information. Nothing is sent to me other than the request for the current version number. Still, I understand the concern - but if I were trying to do something sneaky I wouldn't make it extremely easy to track me down (a 'whois' on my website will give you my name and address).

5 meg. It's a nasty Microsoft Visual Basic thing. The package includes all of the support files (dll's, run time libraries) - most of which you probably already have installed on your computer. That's why the 'Update' package is so much smaller - I strip out everything I can. It's safe to delete the package file once you have installed the program - you can always get another copy from my website if you need it.

I looked, declined, but now am tempted as I need to check a sellers negs and dont feel like wading through 12 pages to find them.

That said, if they arent that recent I prolly dont need to check, but I am a sadistic thing and I LURRVE reading nasty things about other ppl Big Grin

Ahh buggerit - I'll give it a go. LOL Work computers are as tight as fish bums (do fish even have bums???)so I will give it a go.

After the collapse of Haus, downloaded the following:GutCheck™, eBay Feedback Analysis Tool

It works quite well, but I find it quite annoying that insist that it filters for negs before it starts. Other than that it does what it says and its FREE!

Features:
Installs as a right click menu item in Internet Explorer.
Right click on a eBay member name or feedback score on any page to initiate feedback analysis.
Receive percentage positive, neutral, and negative feedback of total feedback received.
Filter view to just negative/neutral only.
Filter out feedbacks left by users with feedback scores of 'X' or less.
Export view via clipboard to Excel, Word, etc.
Sort all columns (left by, feedback score, feedback type, auction date, etc) ascending/descending.
Drill down own feedback item and see auction title, date auction ended, and closing price.

Hope this is of some help to fellow addicts.

Off topic:
I think we need an Auctions Anonymous thread where we can confess our sins as a dire warning to the younger generation. I mean I have bought something that the wife wont allow in the house because it is so hideous. How stupid was that?
Should I dare publish a photo so all of you can see it and laugh?

Thanks! A friends mother actually says things like that (you can see my tribute to her at my other mothermaryproductions page)! When I decided to organize my business stuff I thought I needed a 'spokesperson'! I actually licensed that photo from Corbis (remarkably inexpensive). It was the only 'crabby old lady' that I could find!

Mother Mary Says, 'HONESTLY! you're just ruint!'
