Can I snipe my own high-bid? (I hope not)

thanks for looking in. Heres the scenario:

I put in a minimum bid ($100) on an antique table in order to kill the "buy it now" option. No with only a few hours to go I am still the only bidder. I've put in a snipe and with my max bid ($500) in the likely event the table gets more bidders. But assuming I am still the only bidder at the end of the auction, will AS recognize that I am already the high-bidder (I am using all the same user names, etc.) or will I end up sniping my own high bid?

I'm thinking AS is "smart" enough to handle this situation but thought I'd ask the group.

AS *will* place your snipe, and even if your proxy bid was enough to win, you'll still be charged for the snipe.
