Can I snipe an auction in other currency? (Euros?)

I need to bid on an auction that is in Euros. My Snipe It Now window comes up and asks for a bid, but there is no currency displayed near the bid amount. The auction is in Euros, so if I bid, am I bidding Euros?

I've bid on auctions in a lot of currencies, and yes, you always enter your bid in that currency, rather than your own. The best thing to do is decide what your highest bid is in your native currency, convert it to Euros (there are lots of great converters on the Web) and then use this as your snipe bid.
