Good Morning All!
I am new to Auction Sniper - I have a VERY important auction that I want to Snipe. If I enter my snipe max.....can I still bid if I see that it is going to be more than the amount I entered as my max snipe? I know that I can't change my snipe close to the end of the auction.......but I don't want to loose the chance to bid higher if needed. This auction will be a very expensive one. Please Help!! Thanks So Much! Confused

Yes, you can still bid whenever you wish. However, in my opinion and that, I believe, of most here--it defeats the purpose of sniping to bid multiple times. The best thing to do is bid your absolute max--make your one bid the most you are willing to pay. Anyone else who bids at those closing seconds of the auction was planning their bids independent of you. If you plan a snipe, then go back and keep upping it, all you are doing is getting caught up in the bidding frenzy that snipers seek to avoid. I recommend that you simply decide your max when you set your snipe, rather than going back later and changing it as the price goes up. One of the points of sniping is to stay away from the bidding frenzy. By deciding your true maax up front, you will avoid spending more than you intended. Wink

When I think of sniping, it reminds me of the "Superman" joke.

Superman was flying around one day and saw Wonder Woman lying naked on her bed. Feeling frisky, he flew down, quickly had his way with her, and flew away before she knew what hit her. Although he felt confident, he somehow felt something was "different."

Wonder Woman was taken by surprise and felt a sudden surge of electricity. She asked the invisible man if he felt anything and he said "I don't know but my a** is killing me!"

When you snipe, you are the invisible man. No one can see you but occasionally, some pain in the a** is going to swoop in and beat you to the punch. You just have to deal with it and remember that unless you're item is "one of a kind," another will most likely appear on eBay in the near future.
