~~~~ENDED UP FORCED TO BUY ITEMS I WOULD HAVE CANCELED BY SNIPES ON BUT I COULD NOT BECAUSE AS WAS DOWN
.....and remember...I'VE PAID THEM FOR ALL THIS TOO......OF COURSE I SHOULD BE THANKFUL AND NOT MIND THE OCCASIONAL (every couple weeks now) LITTLE $1500. SCREW UP.
Their constant debacles just keep happening and are getting progressively worse and each catastrophe lasting longer. Add to that, some staff are so discourteous, so sarcastic and so inept; they cannot even BS and do a cover up believably. Even people with minimal computer savvy are calling them on their feeble excuses. When the staff can’t baffle us with BULL, they try to bully anyone who dares stand up to them. The staff are clearly posting under various log in names that are meant to look like satisfied clients, all this in a further effort to silence dissenters and to make new comers think there are only a few malcontents but yet there are many other delighted, satisfied customers who don't mind a few crashes and are just as happy to waste money and time and lose auctions. IT'S JUST $$$$! For those who said the A.S. staffers are “marked” as staff… you silly naive buggers---ANYONE CAN EASILY GO IN AND CREATE A NEW IDENTITY THAT LOOKS JUST THE SAME AS ANY OTHER USER. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO POST FAKE PRAISE UNDER THEIR STAFF NAMES NOW ARE THEY? DUHHHHH...THEY ARE TRYING TO FOOL US...AND IT SEEMS SOME BUY IT. Fake praise can also be posted by their family members, friends or just the staff themselves and they could make unlimited user identities. We would not be able to tell unless the IP addresses are checked and even then you can have more than 1 IP address OR if it’s their family or friends from different computers, obviously the IP addresses will be different anyway. (That’s how some shill bidders operate on eBay…getting friends and family to up bid…and post positive feedback)
The fake posts are almost TOO obvious on this forum (A.S. is not even good at shill comments---rather lame ducks all round….) as no genuine normal user would be so blatantly sycophantic, praising A.S. as almost infallible and also denigrating other users who are complaining. It might even be their Moms posting this fake high praise BS so precious but feebleminded 44 year old baby boy keeps his job WHEN I PICTURE AUCTION SNIPERS "OFFICE"---I'M STARTING TO PICTURE A ONE GEEK OPERATION RUNNING OUT OF MOM'S DARK DANK BASMENT--JUST ONE GREASY HAIRED, B.O. Considering all the serious problems that have been going on with so many users, there is NO WAY ALL THE INGRATIATING POSTS ARE GENUINE. Now, it’s pretty pathetic for any company to be that cowardly and frightened of the truth.
Auction Sniper’s insecure paranoids are being absolute tyrants by deleting posts that don't pay homage to their ongoing brilliance. A.S.’s (how appropriate) keeps removing posts that suggest reasonable, fair, LEGAL recourses available to all consumers who have been deceived by unscrupulous business practices or suffered financial loses due to incompetence, negligence and malpractice by a firm. I posted a long letter after the last disgraceful disaster and it was pulled from the forums FAST but I have made sure it’s posted on eBay and 16 other message boards where HONEST FACTS ARE NOT DELETED. EVERYTHING I said was true and factual. Don’t even try to intimidate me again with threats about libel or slander as the truth is an absolute defense to either of those charges. I am speaking ABOUT MY EXPERIENCES HERE AND I AM MAKING SUGGESTIONS OF LEGAL ACTIONS ANY CONSUMER CAN TAKE. THIS INFORMATION IS READILY AVAILABLE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GOOGLE “bad companies, bad business, scams, rip off’s….” and other such words one might use to describe being exploited by ANY company. I provided OPTIONS for members to explore. If Auction Sniper really believed they are a credible company, A.S. WOULD NOT AFRAID OF AN UNBIASED THIRD PARTY INVESTIGATING ALL COMPLAINTS. A.S. KNOWS, they are failing a HUGE number of clients and A.S. KNOWS they are doing little to fix the REOCCURRING PROBLEMS. I feel A.S. intends to browbeat people into silence so A.S. can continue to milk us as cash cow idiots, who won’t dare stand up to them.
A.S. DOES THE ONLY REMAINING THING THEY CAN DO, LIKE DICTATORS, THEY CENSOR AND DELETE THE MANY DISSENTING MEMBERS WHO REFUSE TO ACCEPT THEIR UNCONVINCING EXCUSES AND WHO REFUSE TO BE INTIMIDATED OR BOUGHT OFF BY ONE MISERABLE WORTHLESS FREE SNIPING DAY. A reputable, customer friendly firm would WANT honest feedback so they can make things better for existing clients and draw NEW clients by showing they are balanced, honest and fair and they CAN cope with complaints professionally. Their panicky censorship only confirms they are running scared and they cannot afford to BE CLOSELY SCRUTINIZED BY UNBIASED AUTHORITIES, LIKE THE BBB, THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, CONSUMER AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS AND TRADE ACTS ETC.

On this past weekend, I could not access and modify my snipes properly. For most of the weekend, my bids could not be consistently modified and new ones could be added when I tried and often I could NOT cancel bids on auctions I wished to drop out of. It was a very serious situation as I had numerous snipes placed HIGH and would have modified them DOWN OR CANCELLED depending on what other auctions I won. I needed several items urgently so was bidding on several different auctions of the same goods….only intending to end up buying 2 or 3…not 7 WHICH I AM FORCED TO BUY NOW SINCE I COULD NOT CANCEL BIDS WHEN I HAD WON ENOUGH!
Certain materials are VERY important for me to “win” as they are “rare” and don’t come up often. Also many other people are after them so it’s imperative that I can act fast. That’s WHY I signed up for Auction Sniper. So, since Auction Snipers MOST RECENT FAILURE ( AND THERE HAVE BEEN A LOT OF RECENT FAILURES AND GLITCHES BUT NOTHING THAT COST ME LIKE THIS ONE) I could NOT modify my snipes, I ended up paying MUCH MORE than I would have, as I would have canceled some and modified others. I could not tell if Auction Sniper was doing A DAMN THING for me on ANY auctions. For example, a vintage wedding gown that I would have wanted to pay about $335 for…..I ended up STUCK paying $586 for since I could not modify my snipe down and I really did not need this one as I had just “won” another auction for the same type of gown. In other cases, I lost because I could not modify my LOW snipe upwards and got outbid by someone else. Plus I had won alot of auctions already through the week and was trying to buy more items FROM THE SAME SELLERS, so they could multipack my wins, saving me shipping $$$!!!! These sellers were holding my "wins" and waiting to package and ship them as I told them I was still shopping their auctions. I let these sellers down because of your Auction Sniper not working. Sellers don’t care what reasonable excuses a buyer has…the sellers are running a business and cannot afford to just “let it go”…they rightfully expect me to honor my commitments and bids AND I WILL.
Not being able to modify my snipes cost my business money and this is unacceptable to me.
I had my business accountant review this entire situation and he estimates I am paying about $1446.00 more in higher bids, unwanted deals I MUST complete because I could not cancel my snipes and additional shipping fees than I would have, had Auction Sniper functioned properly.
I COUNT on my eBay deals to get the vintage stock that I require to operate. Now I can SEE how often your site does go down and that you offer nothing to your customers who experience "losses" due to this. I am sure you have a disclaimer from any liability however I would hope you care more about customer service and will do something other than make the same old time worn excuses!
COMPENSATION in SOME FORM…EVEN JUST A BLOODY TOKEN CREDIT WOULD HELP…HOW ABOUT A REFUND???? INSTEAD YOUR OWN STAFF ARE POSTING HERE MAKING MORE FEEBLE EXCUSES THAT DON’T HELP US. SOME RUDE POSTERS ARE DEFENDING AUCTION SNIPER WITH A VEHEMENCE THAT MAKES ME SUSPECT THESE IDIOTS ARE YOUR OWN STAFF----VERBALLY ABUSING ALREADY ANGRY CLIENTS AND TRYING TO HIDE BEHIND PRETENDING TO BE A SATISFIED UNDERSTAND CLIENT WHO DOESN’T MIND YOUR CONTINUAL SCREW UPS….. not bloody likely! Any client who experienced what most of us did, WOULD NOT BE DEFENDING YOU…they are on your payroll.
I suggest everyone post their personal experiences with Auction Sniper on eBay chat and message forums….hit “Sniper” in the pocket book and they might fix their mess. You are not going to get honest answers here. Warn off potential new victims via message groups. Report them to sites like:

The only way to stop abuse of consumers, is to report such inept unethical businesses everywhere possible…..Better Business Bureaus….Attorney General’s Office….eBay…advertisers and also you can consider [edited: our boards aren't here for you to talk about suing us, duh] if the unscrupulous firm cost you a substantial amount of money.
