Having won a dutch auction where I took 6 of the 20 items, $1.99 each + $3.50 total shipping ... AS correctly shows the item in My Wins with an item price of 1.99; I entered shipping as 3.50; I entered quantity as 6; AS adds the total up and gets 5.49. That is, it has not accounted for the 6 in the Quantity box. Total should be 15.44.

Also regarding the Quantity box, why doesn't it default to 1 rather than 0, nearly all auctions are buying 1 item surely (or more), it is not actually possible to buy 0 items!

This is from AS' faq:
Quantity
This is the quantity of items you want to win. Unless you are bidding on a Dutch auction, this will be 1.

Although that doesn't answer your question, at least it isn't a bug. My guess is that AS left the quantity "0" to warn you this was a Dutch auction, and force you to enter a quantity.
Sorry, when I say "My Wins" I think I mean the "Wins Tracker", i.e. after auction, where one can manage feedback etc.

The bit about the Quantity (in Wins Tracker) defaulting to 0 when I think it should default to 1, applies whether or not the auction is Dutch, it always says 0, for all types of auctions.

Thanks!
Hello everyone!!

I have been informed that this issued is resolved.

This is how it works:

Total = (Selling Price * Quantity) + Shipping Price + Insurance.

We know that this might not apply to everyone because people might have combined shipping, or some other case, but we think it applies for most of the cases.

Have a great day everyone!
