It's easier to get answers here than it is to query Ebay
Some Ebay listed items display the PayPal "Buyer Protection Offered" logo. In reading Ebay's explanation, they use the nebulous phrase "confirm item's eligibility", and of course there is the word "offered". At first glance, it would appear that if the PayPal check mark is shown on the seller's listing and the buyer uses PayPal to pay for a successful auction......then the buyer is automatically covered to the extent of $500. How do you experts read this?
