I put a snipe in for an auction because I thought I wouldn't be home in time to bid myself. I did get home in time and cancelled the snipe. I didn't get the item (wouldn't have with the snipe either - it went for too much).

My question is, if I cancel the snipe and decide to bid myself and win the item on my own, will I still be charged by AS?

Hope, considering that it only costs a few cents to have AS bid, I am curious why you canceled the snipe. I always let AS bid on every auction for me, whether I am home or not. Occasionally, if I am at the computer when the auction is ending, I may also recall my pre-AS days two years ago and place a manual snipe, but this is in addition to AS, never in place of them. They are the best fallback I could ever have. Big Grin

No, you wont be charged. You must delete it at least 2 minutes before the end of the auction however because at that point we've already put your snipe in the multiple computers at different places in california that do the sniping.
