"has anyone ever gotten any bogus fees from using this?" - I haven't and I haven't heard of anyone that has. But, if you place a manual bid, even if your snipe doesn't go thru, and you win, AS will bill you, or use up a free snipe. You used their resources, so it counts. You have 2 minutes before close to cancel snipe.

"someone else bids on my item , will it automatically bid over them? or does it wait til the end and place my bid." - It will bid only once, and that is the amount you asked it to bid. The amount of lead time you specifies controls when the snipe goes in.

"Also does it gradually go up.' - one bid, what you specify.

"am i going to have to pay the maximum bid that i typed in" - Only that max that it takes to increment higher then the 2nd highest bidder.

"like right now my item is at 10.50 if noone else bids on my item am i going to have to pay the maximum bid that i typed in which is $13.00 or will it automatically see that i can win with $11.00" - that depends on what the current high bid is. If it 10.50, you buy for 11. If it's 11, you buy for 11.50.

You have 2 minutes before close to cancel snipe." im using the free trial version, it says i have 3 free snipes. so after this one is over i have 2 more right. after those 2 are gone what do i do. can i cancel this membership?

If you cancel a snipe, you must cancel it 2 minutes before the end of auction. You have 3 free win snipes. If you win this one, you'll have 2 more. You can cancel your membership anytime you want to.
