While we had some small issues with bidgroups last week, they are working fine now. Please use them as usual.

In a nutshell - our post auction service was behind in figuring out if the item in the bid group was won or lost. So instead of bidding again (which would win two items if one was already won), it would not bid. Hence bid groups not working. Post auction service is caught up and bid groups work.

They work, but fitfully. It's hit or misss, I wouldn't risk any important item or set of items on this function, after personally having it fail twice (in 2 instances months apart) and seeing validated complaints about it on at least 1, or was it 2, additional occasions. Witness the latest "Bid Group false win, cancellation...." on this same board. (Wonder why that topic was closed....) So, in at least 3 or 4 instances (spanning a week here, several days there) it's been screwing up--admittedly that's over the span of around 9 months, but that's still not terribly good, is it. Basically AS can't seem to get and keep its act together on this. It's just "Um, there's a problem so you shouldn't use bidgroups for the time being" (then why not friggin disable the function??), or "Um, there was a problem but now we fixed it". Sure. Thanks for that, Bill
