bidding with Euros

Hi , I am new to AS and am hoping that someone can help me with this.

I want to bid on an auction that the currency is Euros.The problem I am having is that I need to place a comma in the bid instead of a period.
Example:

bid wanted 15,50 Euros ( about $14US)
the way I have to place the bid when manually bidding on this auction site , you have to type in 15,50...but when I put that in my highest bid price for AS , it places a bid of 1550.
If you place a bid with 15.50 ( period not comma)
the auction site will not accept it..
is there a way to place the bid of 15,50 Euros??

Hi, welcome to AuctionSniper! Whatever the problem is, it's an eBay requirement not an AS fault. If you're bidding from a European eBay site, it's possible that the comma is required for fractional euros instead of the decimal point. EBay might differentiate euros from dollars in that way. You can inquire on eBay about that. But if a comma works for you, just go with the comma. Good luck!
