bidding on BIN.....

I'm sure this question has been asked but I don't feel like searching thru all the posts.

I'm presently the high bidder on two auctions that were BIN. They're from the same seller and end within 5 mins. of each other.

I placed my max. bids for just the opening bid amount to eliminate the BIN option. Anyone can come along and outbid me at this point, which I fully expect.

My question is, when I set up an AS snipe for these items, if there are no other bids other than mine will AS still place my snipe bid? And if they do, will ebay raise the high bid by one implement?

Yes... and No

Yes AS will place your bid,
and No the price will not go up for a second bid by the same person.

It would be like bidding twice on the same item from Ebay.

I just won the two auctions. There were no other bidders. AS placed my snipes and it raised my proxy. In the bid history it looks like I made two bids for the same amount, with the second bid being my snipe placed 10 seconds before the auction ended. It did not raise the high bid to the next increment.
