Bidding on a Reserve auction

I know the reserve is $50. If I bid $100 for a snipe and the reserve is not met, will my snipe bid kick in and meet the reserve?

ho hum - rtfm!

the snipe will effectively be a bid at 100 units (AS bids in the currency of the auction) as if it was you bidding, thus the actual bid will depend on ebay's handling of your bid against the reserve so, in the same way as if you bid manually, if no-one else bids you'll hit the auction at the reserve and win at 50!
