Rick is so right, just use AS.
You might want to read up on bid groups. It is the best way to get what you want at the best price. Just set up a bid group folder, and then throw all the itmes you can find of that particular gizmo into that folder. Then, AS will keep bidding on the items until you win one.
That way you do not overpay for an item and you do not have to babysit the bidding.
