Hi,

It's been a bussy day...

One our swicthes died today, and we had to put a backup one up and set everything so the sites would work again.

We apologize for this inconvinience, we have some engineers down in our colocations reviewing everything.

As for now, snipes are being placed normaly.

Once again, we apologize for this inconvinience.

I, too, have just experienced my first Auction Sniper "snafu." Ebay auction #3514413881. "My Snipes" lists the snipe as "Ready"... but, it's now at the end of my list, and the auction ended on April 21 at 13:13:22. No, my bid was never executed. Yes, I too couldn't get onto the site earlier today. I'm assuming Sniper was down; can't anyone who reads this (who actually works for Sniper) confirm? Is Auction Sniper now back up and operative, or should I cancel all pending bids and go it alone???

I'm assuming she means that AS was experiencing a problem today, but not yesterday (Sunday)? If that's the case, the 3 posts concerning snipes not being placed on Sunday could still have been caused by using a short lead time? Confused

Sofia,

Thanks for your apologies, I appreciate, even if this will not give back lost items, eg. the 2CD box I mentionned above I had never seen it in 1 1/2 year of eBay... Frown

I have had two free snipes through the relevant page, I followed this link
http://www.auctionsniper.com/freeSnipes.aspx

I hope this was the 0.01% of downtime...

Thanks
Guillaume
