The seller ended the auction early. This isnt our fault, go yell at the seller.
You cant get free snipes because neither of these are cases where we give them. The solution to your first snipe is to bid more. The solution for the second is to let the seller know you are disappointed that he ended his auction before it was scheduled to, and that you had planned on bidding a much higher amount near the end of the auction.
