Bid not placed !!!

My high bid was for 21.25 item sold for 21.00, but went to another buyer.
Message came accross that my bid was below increment.
What is going on, do I have any recourse ?

Look up bid increments on ebay help and you'll see why your bid wasn't placed...

Thus your bid/snipe was only 25c more than the last bid, you needed (at least) $21.50 to win...

Recourse? I have given you a free snipe to replace the one you didn't use...

Actually, you needed $21.50 to just bid...how much he needed to win depends on what the other bidder's max bid was.
