bid not placed

I entered a bid amount and the auction ended with no buyer and my bid not placed. What happened??!!

Who knows without more information. Item ID, etc etc. You may have got the ID and password wrong, eBay's servers could have been slooow (they are on Sunday), your lead time might have been too short etc etc.

Hey Sara (she works for AS) why not have a pop up message on snipes placed on Auctions that finish at busy times to warn of these problems so that newbies aren't disappointed unnecessarily?
