Bid Icrement Too Low!

Would someone explain to me how my bid increment was too low yet the person who won the auction was 2 cents below my maximum bid? I just don't understand this! Thanks.

ebay bids in increments so it means that your snipe, although higher than the winning bid, wasn't high enough under ebay's rules. You could have one by 2 cents under ebay's proxy bidding system but this didn't apply in this case. Check out proxy bidding on ebay's help!
