3063023689 item number

I would like to bid on this particular item. This seller has multiple auctions for this same item. Other sellers have similar items up for bid. By putting this item number in my bid group will it bid on exact matches to this auction, or similar items as well?

Perhaps this will clear it up. It is a quote from SARA

You want to set up what we call a bid group. It will do this for you automatically. Then you can spend your time adding items to the bid group and just sit back and wait till you win one, without worrying about winning more than one.

Here is a short and easy tutorial:

Bidgroups are perfect when there are many of the same thing on eBay, like DVD's. I use them all the time for that.

You're right, again, Mrs. M. Each auction must be entered. And, remember to delete the bid group when you reach the number of items you requested. Don't reuse the bid group at a later date if it's reached the selected quantity.

Rick and Mrs. M. are both right. You just keep sniping the items and tossing (moving) them into that folder/bid group. Once you become experienced in the bid groups, you can reuse the folder by using the manage bid group tab and then changeing the changable number needed then hit update and you are using the same folder. I have some that I have been reusing for serveral months. Thanks. Wink But as a beginner, deleting the folder once you win one item, as told by Rick is OK. Wink
