Basic AS Questions

Yes they will send your bid at the time you set to eBay. Ebay will then place your bid... Like a one time proxy. I use 8 seconds and it has always worked for me.

No. In fact, placing a proxy bid through ebay is somewhat self-defeating. Better to only snipe and not encourage a bidding war. Many snipers will place a proxy bid to void a Buy-It-Now, or to make sure there’s at least one bid so the seller won’t cancel the auction.
