Hi, I have bidded and won using AS successfully many times in the past.

I bought a Belkin UK Wireless G+ MIMO Router last week. I have DMZ set up for my desktop PC that I use for AS and I (for example) get a High ID on Emule every time I connect, over many nights, so everything seems to be fine.

Yet when I came to use AS with the same seller, last night, I was "banned". Seller got 5 other people telling him the same thing as me! Seller hasn't a clue why, and says that he let his Son work with his Ebay account last week whilst he was away, I wonder what the hell settings he could have possibly changed to make me and 4 other bidders get banned?

Or is it my Router?

Any ideas?

Best Regards,

AL G.

The only one that applies to me would be ;-

"have bought '1-100' of your items in the last 10 days"

which is true. Maybe the seller's 'helper' switched these "buyer requirements" features on to protect the seller. In that case, it backfired and stopped 6 kosha bidders from getting their items. In this case us bidders lost out, and so did the seller since we were willing to pay considerably more than was offered by the eventual auction winners. Irritating.

Many Thanks for the help anyway, I appreciate it as I am a fairly intensive user of AS.

As a test I just bidded on another of the seller's items but not using AS. It worked perfectly. Maybe the seller has in the meantime figured out the problem and unblocked me from bidding? We are in touch by e-mail so no doubt I will find out in due course as to what the hell was going on!

Best Regards,

AL.
