I have had several interesting selling experiences lately.

Firstly, 2 ladies (I guess) entered a bid war and run the price of 3 tupperware items WAAAAAY up (over $60AUD) and then the winning bidder proceeded to complain and complain about how much she spent etc.....HALLOOOOO!!! I didnt make you bid that much, I would of been happy with the opening bid.

Secondly, whilst selling some 2nd hand MAG wheels for work, I was offered $200 less for the wheels in question if they didnt sell. They didnt sell on the first listing, so I contacted the offer-er and told him we would accept his offer. He then told me I would have to include freight at that cost....ummm....no....freight was going to be $200. I told him to forget it - politely of course. He then proceeded to call me a number of colourful names and told me I was dreaming if I thought we would get our asking price.

I relisted the item at HIS offered price, and they got bidded up to my original opening price. I had great pleasure in pointing this out to him. He has since asked me to keep him in mind when we have another set..."keep dreaming" was what I replied.

I have now been contacted by a Indonesian fellow about shipping wheels over to him on a regular basis. DOH! shipping over there is $1600AUD on its own. HE is dreaming.

Ebay never ceases to amaze me Smile
