Automatic SEARCHES function not running on dependable basis

The automatic SEARCHES function not working on a dependable basis. It is my understanding that the SEARCHES function with eMail reports is to be run automatically by AS every 24 hours. During the past week, I have received SEARCHES reports only 2 times at random times.

I would appreciate receiving a reply from AS regarding the schedule for AS running the SEARCHES reports on a dependable basis. What can I depend on?

I understand that if your search doesn't have any results you won't be receiving an email... so maybe that is the case.
