Please help, I'm new to all of this and I'm sure its archived sompeplace but I don't want to take chane of losing auction while searching for the answer. I am bidding on the following Ebay item:
LE-SKI NAVY SKIING BIB & PANTS Sz 16 - NEW
3613673754 AU $51.00
$34.16 approx. US

I entered bid of $36.50 assuming I should bid in US dollars. I emailed Snipe and asked but have not received their answer yet and I am afraid auction will end before they reply. Please help, how should I enter the bid amount? Use the Australian dollars or US dollars?
Thank you, a newbie to sniping and Ebay.

This is from AS' faq:
Your maximum bid will be in the currency of the auction. If the seller is accepting US dollars, then a max bid for 125.75 will be for 125 US dollars and 75 cents. And if a seller is accepting German marks, then a max bid of 75 will be for 75 German marks. There is no need to make conversions. Simply enter your maximum bid in the currency that is being accepted.

So, your bid will be in Australian dollars.

This question comes up a lot. I think the reason for that is because this statement is kind of buried.

Hope this helps, Suz Big Grin Big Grin

P.S. If you have an open case with AS, you might think about closing it. That way they won't take time responding to your question.
