AuctionSniper putting in bids earlier than your setting ?! | Auction Sniper

My bid went in at 30 seconds earlier than I had selected. I won the auction but it cost me 40% more than it would have because two bidders had time to react. This is the third time my bids have gone in early, however the previous two were only a few seconds too soon, this one was half a minute too soon!!!

Has anyone else had this happen? I'm a little leary of AuctionSniper right now... Paco

If it was Sunday night, it was because AS adjusts lead-time to make sure the snipe is placed. There’s a ton of info about that on the forum. Click on “Find” at the top of the page, and do a search on “Sunday” or "early". If the auction ended on the exact quarter hour, same discussion for Sunday applies.

- really, in 30 seconds? Doubtful, most likely they were snipes too; remember, it's the highest not the latest that wins!
