Are you using a bid group folder? If so, there must be at least 30 seconds between auction closing times to give AS enough time for the snipes. If you have individual snipes set up for them, 4 seconds between each closing time should be enough for AS but even on a weekday night you might find that one or even two of your snipes don't make it through eBay's servers in time. If you changed it to 8 seconds it would be safer and just as proof against counter-bids. Wink
I agree with Steve, for the most part. Just about everything comes up again on eBay eventually. Occasionally you see your "once in a lifetime" items, but that is pretty rare.

Actually, about a year or two ago, I saw something on eBay that I had never seen before and haven't seen since...more than once I've kicked myself for not considering a higher max in my proxy bid but it ultimately sold for $250.00 which was more than I could afford at the time.

Well, to make a long story short (yes, I know...too late!) in the past 2 weeks, there have been 3 of them on eBay. Sure, they are not in perfect condition but for my needs, I didn't require perfection, and I picked one up for under $10.00! Smile

Just remember to always bid your absolute max, however, make certain that you're not dipping into the mortgage money!
