I just lost an auction because Auction snipe said the auction ended an hour later than it really was. I live on the East coast so I used Eastern time. I did not realize it until I came back in shocked that I lost my bid.

It should not matter what time zone you use. Snipes are entered as seconds before end of auction and are always counted in eBay time. 
Would you mind posting your auction # so we could take a look at it for you?
OK. The auction ID was 3474358078. It ended an hour before the time that my snipe time had. I cancelled it after I lost since it wasn't used. I dont know if you keep records of it but it still showed as waiting to snipe after the auction ended. I'm a little miffed because this was the third time trying to get this item and I used the sniper as a last resort. It won't stop me from using it again but if I did something wrong I'd like to know too.
I might add that I used the import wizard if that makes any difference.
The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price.

Holy cow! I didn't notice that. That's kind of strange because I was willing to pay more than that! What would be the motivation of a seller to do that?
Don't have a clue... seller does have a feedback rating of 1 though.
