Auction End Times.

Are you absolutely sure? Can you give us details? Auction #, time on AS?

Also, try clicking on "Update items info" towards the top in small type.

Actually, refresh will reset the remaining time on "My Snipes" for each auction.

Well...I just went back to check and the problem isn't there anymore. Weird. Maybe I'm just needing more coffee this morning and I read it wrong. I will check again later just in case. Thanks for the response.

I agree with Rick that the anomaly is probably due to lack of updating the item information. AS does this at infrequent intervals, and one of those intervals may have occurred and made the 8-minute time disparity vanish. In case of doubt, always go with the eBay time shown on the item listing itself.

Incase you don't already know this: On "My Snipes" page you can click on item title or # for any snipe to bring up ebay's listing page.

You should also know that when you bring up "My Snipes", the bid amount may not be current. To insure you see the current amount, click on "Update items info". To avoid a delay in bringing up your "My Snipes" page, AS updates this information during off hours on newer auctions. The longer away the closing date is, the less frequent this information is updated. As the auction closing gets closer, AS updates this information more frequently.

I've never heard anyone say that "Update items info" was necessary to keep the time synchronize with ebay, and I've never had to do that, but if all else fails, I would follow Steve's advice. Although the end times are static on "My Snipes" page, refreshing displays the correct end times.
