Hi, I'm new and I was check out AS as a potential to use. So in doing my due diligence I was trolling the forums to see the pros and cons.

I know im going to catch heat on this, especially since its a first post and I have not subscribed but I think its important to see how this is treated by a company that wants my business.

I must say I was deeply troubled by the attitude that I see from the moderators. Especially region2
Sniper Hall Of Fame.

It seems that name calling and talking down to a person is something frequently done.

such comments as:
1. In case you cannot be bothered to click on that link, here's your answer.
2. as to a more reliable site, try www.auctionsucker.com!
3.AS pay me to wind up dip-sticks like you!

perhaps im wrong, and i really hope I am and he is not working for AS. But who ever he is, he should have his account watched. I have never seen such a arrogant attitude.

Anyway, my 2 cents. Now lets see. Thanks.

If you want an example of the type of responses you’ll get from support, either from filing a support case or on the forum, check out this section of the forum:
https://community.auctionsniper.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/975608021
Only support personnel are authorized to post there.

Actually, you’re a lot better off filing a support request using this link:
http://support.auctionsniper.com/
Their answers tend to be canned, but you’ll not get the typical bashing that one experiences on this forum. Also, they have more knowledge as to what is going on and they’re good at responding in a timely fashion. Far too often this forum turns into a war zone.

Don't worry about rude replies Axe, they are only directed at people who come on this forum with an attitude problem.

If you ask a question in a friendly manner, Chatter, Jabbergah, R2 or Rick will answer it in similar vein.

If you can't be bothered to even look at an existing thread dealing with the problem, or come in slandering AS, then you must expect a very robust reposte!

There is a expectation problem here - AS offers a workmanlike solution at an affordable price. Some people expect a $100 service for 15cts.

At the price level its pitched, it's pretty good, but its not perfect. There are inadequate resources (it seems) to fully keep a watching brief on these forums, so they concentrate their expenditure on reply solely to the link that Rick gave you.

All the replies you see here are from people contributing their wisdom for no payment. Consequently, if R2 "blows a fuse" occasionally, it is simply because he is exasperated with one who is "a slice short of a sandwich"

There is a divide here. Americans, as a nation, tend to be extremely polite to strangers and tend to express their true feelings only in private. We Brits, on the other hand, take a very robust approach in public (a quick tour round a few GB forums will illustrate this perfectly!) and though it might seem "beyond the pale" to you, it is partially a result of an odd sense of humour!

The recipients of our "black Humour" here go off in a "huff", but in reality, they should stay and join in the banter!

I am certain Rick will agree - he really does enjoy being abused!

Yep - I'm a user with gumption - I say what I see so some of my responses might seem a bit abrupt but they are only dolled out to those who deserve 'em. Sadly you have read (and quoted) my comments out of context and failed to see the irony therein. Can I suggest you re-read the whole thread(s) from whence you got those quotes and try to understand what I was saying to the numpties. Obviously if you find Monty Python and The Office (UK version as US copy sucks!) incomprehensible then please don't waste your time...

R2 (oh to be a moderator - I know who I'd banish to community.auctionsucker.com !!!)

Been thinking about the word “gumption”. It’s almost as if region2 is suggesting he should get a medal for bravery. I’ve never heard “it” (some people might call it “belligerence”) referred to as “gumption”. It would be curious what his response would be to someone else that gave him some “gumption”?

Good word - will have to save it for future usage.
