I'm confused. I clicked on the "register" link, filled out an AS password, user name, etc, and got the e-mail confirming I am registered with Auction Sniper. Now I want to snipe an ebay auction, so I clicked on the "Sign Up" tab, fill in my ebay info etc, buy the form comes back saying my ebay username /password are not correct. THey ARE correct. What's the problem? Thanks,

Bill

Bill, are you using the same username and password for AS that you use for eBay? You have to do that, you know. Also, when you sign in please remember to check the little "remember me" box. Not doing that can also cause problems.

Have you used your three free snipes? If so, then have you registered a payment source with AS? You can use PayPal, but it takes a couple of days to clear. I use a credit card, personally. Smile
I just figured out that I am only registered for the AS forums, and the forum username & password evidently do not automatically register me for AS proper. So, my problem is that when I click the "try it now free" link, I am presented with a registration page, which asks for my ebay username and password. I fill this out, but AS doesn't believe me that these are truly my ebay username and password. So no, I have not been able to use any free snipes or even sign into the AS web site, except for the forum. By the way, I am NOT using my e-mail address for my ebay user id.
Thanks,

Bill

Bill, you wrote "I just figured out that I am only registered for the AS forums, and the forum username & password evidently do not automatically register me for AS proper."

That's correct. Are your forum user id and password the same as what you use for eBay? If not, please click on "forum home" at the top of this page and change them to conform with what you use on eBay. Then try to register for AS proper, again using your eBay user id and password.
