AS put in my bid but I got an email that said not in time...

This isn't a complaint or anything because I'm happy that I won the auction. AS sniped the auction for me and I was curious as to why I didn't receive an email from them to say that I won. Ebay knows that I won and I've already sent my payment through paypal. Now I receive an email from AS that says my bid was not placed in time. To make things even more strange, it is listed under my Wins. Any thoughts?

This happens sometimes on Sunday because eBay is sooooooo busy we sometimes cant get through to verify the snipe was indeed placed. We err on the side of caution and assume the snipe was missed. We'll be reprocessing listings this afternoon and the correct status will be found.
