I have been trying to cancel a snipe too and it won't let me. this was part of a bid group, I won the first item and it didn't cancel the second snipe. I had the bidgroup set to only win one. I then went to manually cancel the snipe and it will not go away. Luckily I was able to change the max amount to under the amount of the auction so I won't win the item, but I still cannot cancel. This is rather scary, I don't know if I want to use bid groups if there is a chance of this happening. Anyone know what is going on?
If you try to cancel a snipe with two minutes or less to go in the auction AS won't let you cancel. That's because your bid is queued up by AS and "locked in" to bid at the pre-set time.

Sometimes I'll cancel one of my snipes and the words "Your snipe is cancelled" will appear but the snipe setup for the item is still there like nothing happened. I find that it goes away if I sign out and then sign back in again.
I've heard enough people to mention it to think it's happening, but I can't figure out why.

Maybe if you could file a support case immediately when it happens and note the times and stuff like that. I'm kinda wondering if it only happens when the site is busy and such.

When it wont let you delete what happens? You click the delete button with the item checked and it just reloads the page and the item is still there? Is there any error message? Carefully check the page for anything in red, etc.
In my case, the item wasn't scheduled to close for several hours.

When I tried to cancel the item, the page would refresh, but with no error messages or updates. I noticed that even when I tried to refresh / update the entire page, that it wouldn't update, so that bids would show that they weren't closing for several hours, when there was only 45 minutes left, and the highest current bid information was not being refreshed either.
My situation is similar but not identical. As I wrote earlier, when I want to cancel a snipe I click on the "Cancel" icon for the item. The page refreshes and I get the message (near the top of the screen) "Your snipe has been cancelled." But the snipe setup is still there often -- not always -- although I suspect that the snipe has indeed been cancelled.

I also have the experience of trying to update auction info and having nothing happen after the page "refreshes." I'll try to file a support case the next time it happens.
No, the items are only listed once. I don't use bid groups which is where accidental multiple lists of the same item are more likely to occur. Maybe, as you say, an update will take care of it. It's only a minor glitch to me, hardly worth complaining about in view of all the good stuff that's right there for me.
