AS did not place my bid

I was reading through earlier posts and noticed that there was a post regarding group bid error and that it has been resolved. Well, not in this case. The two bids that I have placed were a group bid and both were not placed. Wife is still angry with me .

Well, maybe Sara could look into this and advise.

Was that the 1st time you used that bid group folder? If not, read the following posted by Steve:

Bid group folders should be deleted after you use them. This issue comes up alot. This must the the 2nd or 3rd most common reason for snipes not getting placed.

This is from AS' faq:
35. How come I can’t reuse a bid group?
Bid Groups are sensitive. Once a bid group is expired (the amount of items that you wanted to win, have been won), you cannot add another item. It is locked.
It's too bad that the "it is locked" doesn't prevent more snipes to be added to an expired bid group.

To answer your question, I did not use an expired group. I have specifically created a new group bid for this bid.

I clicked the "Confirmation" button next to both of your snipes. Both showed eBays "Not in Time" message.

I see you used a 9 second lead time which is way more than enough for a Friday around 3pm. You can claim some free snipes here:

eBay has been really bad the past 3 days about not in times. I'm having a bad feeling about Sunday already. I think I'm going to go put up our first ever warning in advance as "Not in Times" are running about 3-4x as high as normal. Still low overall, at most 2% or so but high enough lead times might want to be adjusted.

I'm sorry your snipes were late. You had a great lead time, and we sent your snipes in righ when you told us to at 9 seconds but eBay just been having a few more spritzs than normal the past 3 days. Basically since they made a major change in how snipes are accepted. That didnt effect us though because of how we snipe, but it's obviously effecting eBay.

Ref the using the same bid folder again. To do so,
before you transfer any new bids to it, you must:
go to the manage folders. then change the number you want from 1 to 2 or 3 etc. Then you can transfer the new snipes to the folder.
I often do that now that I learned how to do it.

The funny thing is the "Not in Time" message only came up about 6 hours after the listings had ended. In the mean time, the status were "Ready" even though the listings had ended.

There is a notice by SARA to increse the bid times until ebay gets their act together. Thanks Sara OH yes. re not showing up. I assume that you clicked on the update.
Ebay has been very slow lately to post anything.
