AS did not bid on 2 items in bid group?

Yes, I had used this bid group folder before, successfully. Did I do a bad thing? Do I have to make a new bid group folder each time?

Bid groups don't reset themselves after you use them. If later on you add more snipes, they won't get placed. You have to delete a bid group folder after you've used it. See, the bid group thinks it's done what you wanted it to do. It won the selected number of items. Adding more items doesn't reset that little indicator thing.

>> Did I do a bad thing? << - Well, I wouldn't say "a bad thing". It comes up a lot. At first brush, it sounds kind of goofy. You'd think that after you won your item, adding more items should reset the # of wins. But what if someone had say 10 items they wanted to win and they only had won 5, then they would want to be able to add more snipes and not have it reset to zero.

So, best advice I can give, is when you're done with a bid group, delete it.

Sorry you didn't win those auctions. Bid groups are one of the tougher areas on AS, but I've been told that no other sniping service has them.

Hey, since no bids, why not email the seller and see if you can buy them? If so, you saved AS' fee - not a lot of money, but still.

He'll sell the items at his buy it now price of $30. He sells the same item almost every day. I'll get this item at his minimum ($23) eventually. I'll make a new bid group and eventually the item will be mine. No rush. It's not about saving $7. It's the principle of getting the deal. I'm sure you can relate! Thanks to AS it will be painless.

At $30 his greed is showing (IMO). It's not like the $5 to $7 is going to put him in a higher income bracket, and with his limited # of feedbacks, you'd think he'd tink.
