For some reason, when I open my AOL e-mail in the regular way, the watch list alerts from eBay do NOT contain links to the items; they merely contain the addresses in regular text, which must but cut and pasted into my browser.
BUT when I open the mail through AOL Anywhere, even if I access from home, it after signing on to AOL in the standard way, the links are there. This creates extra steps that I seek to avoid.
Can anyone help me get the links into regular AOL e-mail? I receive dozens of other e-mails every week, many of which contain links, so there is no problem with AOL mail settings. Similarly, I am set up on eBay to receive hyperlinks in watch list e-mails, so there is no problem with those settings, either--as evidenced by the fact that the links do appear in mail opened in AOL Anywhere. I have posted this question on a number of eBay help forums, but it never draws a response. Bueller? Anyone? Thanks.
