Another One Bites the Dust?

As you might have noticed, MG is also gone...as I told her, Lexie, I hope you won't let others, no matter who, drive you away. This is our forum, for members. We will miss you both if you choose to leave and I do understand, but hope you will reconsider.

Bye, Lexie. I can understand needing a break from the forum because I've done it myself. I hope you change your mind and decide to come back at some point.

Either would certainly be fitting GG. Although, I did take offense at the *Mongrel* comment, my breeding is outstsnding. Nothing but Irish, Welsh, English and Scottish here.

Although recently, my Mother did wonder where my love of wild colours and spicy food came from. I asked her if she had an Italian Milkman back in the day.

Trying to stay current with proper English slang, or maybe it's Australian. Is Moggy slang for Mongrel?

Isn't a moggy a cat and a bitzer a mongrel dog? Lexie will know when she gets here.

Mongrel in this context, is meant to be a light-hearted response to being taken in or having the wool pulled over one's eyes.

Fairly commonly used in Australia. It's a strange country where calling someone a bastard can be a form of endearment.

Moggy is a domestic breed of cat.

Here, we call Bitzers "Muts" or "Mongrel Bred Muts"

Mongrel always has another use in colourful old Australia, but I shant go into that here.
