Think of the Import Wizard screen like a worksheet. The Import Wizard function brings in your bidding/watching info and then lets you decide what to actually snipe, and how to set your max snipe price, adjust lead times, and add comments before you actually import it to your My Snipes page. Items you have already bid on are automatically checked, on the assumption that you will want to snipe them. Items you are watching are not automatically checked, on the assumption you are not committed to bidding on them yet. You may go ahead and uncheck any item you don't want to snipe, simply by clicking on the checkmark. Check any item you do want to snipe. Set your price and other info the way you want it. Then, at the bottom of the Import Wizard screen is a little button to click to actually import your checked items (and ONLY your checked items) into the active sniping process, My Snipes. Auction Sniper bids what is in that active snipes section.
After you have imported current bids this time, you may want to check out the Snipe It Now function for future use. It lets you set your snipe directly from an ebay listing page. Nice!
Somewhat wordy, but I hope it helps!
Everyone always reminds one another to bid your absolute max. Find your sweet spot, the price at which if you are outbid, you think, "Man, I wouldn't have paid as much as that other person did!" instead of "Oh, no! I wish I had bid more." Likewise, if you DO win at your max price, you want to think, "Great! I got it and at an acceptable price." vs. "Well, I won, but I sort of wish I hadn't at that price. What was I thinking?"
Welcome! Once you get the hang of it, you'll love AuctionSniper.I wish you good good success!
