I am sniping an item with €8 and the system tells me "Your bid is lower than the items minimum bid." But the current bid price is €2. The same with another auction. What is wrong? (It's surely not the currency.)

Just a wild guess, but did you try clicking on "Update items info" on "My Snipes" page?
You need to enter 8,00.

This is actually something handled by the operating system and we're seeing if we can override it. But we may leave it that way indefinitely.

Now it works again. You should leave it to the "." instead of the "," - or you should write in the boldest letters you find what kind of sign must be used. Otherwise there can be huge bad consequences.
