Hello everyone, I used auction sniper 3 times...the 1st time I lost the auction to a higher bidder. I won the 2nd and 3rd auctions but noticed something strange with both. In the 2nd auction, there were only 2 bids placed on the item. At the end of the auction, I noticed that the 3rd bidder was the winning bid (me) and Auction Sniper had put in my MAX BID which was about $8.00 higher than the 2nd bidder. The bidding increments in this auction were only 50cents and there was no reserve. The same exact thing occurred with the 3rd auction (which also did not have a reserve). There were 12 bids at a total of $16.70. The next increment was to have been $17.20. I had a max bid of $20.23. At the end of the auction I noticed that I was the 13th bidder with a winning bid of $20.23. Why was it not $17.20? It seems as if AS is only putting in my MAX bid instead of bidding for me in increments. I would hate to see what would happen if there was an item that was going to be very costly and I put in a high bid of $75 or $100.00!!!! I would get stuck having to pay my max bid rather than the next incremental bid. Has this happened to anybody before? I didn't see this problem referenced in the Auction Sniper FAQ's and thought I would start here before I email them. Thanks for your help.
