Today a "must-have" was sitting at £42.

I set up a snipe at £50.03 (note the odd three pence!)

I won 'cos the rival bidder had set his proxy to £50.00 exactly. So under Ebay's Proxy Bidding system I pipped him at the post!

Right on, brother. I won an auction last night for less than the bid increment. It's happened several times actually, but none of them can beat your .03!
